about

The soundtrack to 'The ordinary', Christopher Ritchie's second novel published by GBPublishing.org. A twisting tale of otherworldly evil, it's a modern horror parable with themes of porno, the media and the spread of fear in a world doomed by humanity's arrogance. It's got violence and swearing in it, and other stuff like plot and character development, and a touch of twisted humour. There's a bit where a man is fed his own arm. Cracking.

This is the music inspired by the book. It's a collection of 12 instrumentals following the themes and scenes, aiming to enhance your experience in the story. It's not chapter by chapter but an album designed to be played as you read. And when you've finished reading, listen again. Unless you're emotionally bankrupt.

The book is available everywhere, pretty much. Amazon (paperback and Kindle, internationally) is a good bet. Try Waterstones in the UK. Nice shop. Otherwise, just about everywhere online. One reviewer said it was 'genius'. Ahem.

If you want to consider paying me for my hard work, that's nice, and thanks. The music didn't make itself. Otherwise, it's free and whether you pay or not, I hope you enjoy the music, and the book.

Also on Bubblectro you'll find music from my first novel, House of Pigs. Get that too. Bye.

All music composed, performed and produced by C. Ritchie and mastered by thinds, who also collaborated on Silver Sky. This music was made entirely on iPad using the super-smashing Audiobus. Round of applause.
